POPULAR GIRL CONTEST
(0.C.) HAMILTON, this day. The "Popular Girl" contest, held in Hamilton as a means of helping to raise Hamilton's quota of £30,000 for patriotic funds closed on Saturday night, when £19,025 was raised. The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company's "Popular Girl," Miss A. Kelly, won the competition with £3317 donated. The auctioneers', buyers' and country candidate, Miss IT. Worker, was second with £2913. and the motor trade candidate. Miss D. Beachen, was third with £1934.
