BRIDE-TO-BE DIES
N.Z. OFFICKR'S FIANCEE. (0.C.) SUVA, May 19. Miss Lorraine Kermode, daughter of Inspector and Mrs. G. G. Kermode, aged 20, died in the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. She was found unconscious in her room, and it v believed her death was due to the bursting of a blood vessel. She was taken to hospital, but did not rally, and her condition rapidly became worse. A sad feature of her passing was that she was to be married the following week to an officer in the New Zealand Forces stationed in Suva.
You can have mint sauce at any time with a delightful fresh flavour. Boil the vinegar well and make the sauce in the usual manner, adding sugar as desired. This sauce will keep perfectly fresh if bottled in jars or bottles with tightly-fitting corks.
