CANADA'S FORCES

OVER 430,000 VOLUNTEERS British Official Wireless. Rec. 2 p.m. RUGBY, May 29. Canada's fighting forces enlisted voluntarily for service anywhere now total 430.000. according to a statement by the Canadian High Commissioner's office in London. Of this total, the air force includes 110.000, the navy 38.000 and the army 290,000. These figures are exclusive of reserve men called up under the age groups, for training Between 600.000 and 700.000 men and women are engaged direeilv or indirectly in munitions production.
