Ceaseless Shelling And Bombing Of Kinwha EXEMV INKS POISON' GAS Rcc. 2 p.m. CHUNGKING, May 29. The gas put out of action about a third of the Chinese defenders. Japanese forces have begun a movement from Nanchang, but the column was thrown back at Fuho with heavv losses.

Seven Japanese warships shelled the island port of Santuao. in Fukien Province, at dusk on Tuesday. The Chinese beat off the attackers.
