BRITAIN'S OPPORTUNITY Rec. 1 p.m. RUGBY, May 29. Opening a housing exhibition, Sir Stafford Cripps said that Britain was only now becoming really slumconscious. Shortly before the war a beginning on slum clearance had been made, but it was too slow. After the war there would be the immense task of rehousing and an immense opportunity in performing it.
