NOBLE FOX RECORDS SMART FIVE

There was not much doing this morning at Kllerslie, but on the No. 3 grass track Noble Fox was responsible for a smart five furlongs, which he ran in 1.3 3-5, the last half-mile in 50 l-ss. Mendelssohn and Son of the Soil covered a round in 1.54 4-5, and Beverley and Esperance Bay the same journey in 1.47, the last six in 1.23. Kanui *Te Pai and Renascor ran the last seven of a round comfortably in 1.38 2-5.
