WOMAN FOR TRIAL
MAGISTRATE REFUSES BAIL
A woman of 47, Ellen Goodwin, appeared before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., In the Police Court to-day, charged on May 11, with unlawfully using an Instrument on a young woman with intent to procure a certain event. Accused, for whom Mr. W. Noble appeared, pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. An application for bail was refused.
