British Official Wireless Rec. 2 p.m. • RUGBY, May 27. The 11. A.F. Middle East communique states: "In the course of enemy raids on Malta from noon on Monday to noon on Tuesday our aircraft shot down three Italian fighters and damaged others. Targets at Messina, in Sicily, were raided" by our bombers on Monday night."
