ALBANIAN GUERILLAS

INCREASING ACTIVITY

ISTANBUL, May 26.

A wave of unrest is sweeping Albania, according to Mori, the official Italian newspaper published in Tirana, which admits that fighting has broken out at two points between the Albanian guerillas and the Italian forces. It also reports the assassination of the Italian-picked police chief of Tirana, Ali Nechi, by students who escaped. They left a note with the" body, which said: "All who betray the Fatherland will receive the same treatment." The Italians have now decreed the death penalty for Albanians who break the curfew regulations, who wear Italian uniforms, or who drive closed carriages, except in the rain. The police have been ordered to fire on all groups of more than five persons.
