R.S.A. INVESTS

£1000 IN LIBERTY LOAN As a contribution to the Dominion's drive for victory, the executive of the Auckland Returned Services' Association has invested the sum of £1000 in the Liberty Loan. Actuated by patriotic motives and realising the desire of members of the association to do everything possible to assist the Dominion's war effort, the executive considered that the utmost that could be done in view of the financial position of the R.S.A.. would meet with unanimous approval of the members. Also, as a gesture, in response to the Prime Minister's appeal as well as a token of confidence in ultimate victory, it was decided to invest a sum -'that represents a substantial proportion of the R.S.A-'s assets.
