ORPHANAGES BEQUESTS
A series of bequests to orphanages of all denominations appears in the will of the late Mr. Thomas Miller, of Heme Bav, who was managing director of R. O. Clarke. Limited, and the New Zealand Brick and Tile Company, Limited, and who died on May 1. leaving an estate valued at under £120.000. Among the legacies listed in his will are sums of £100 each to the George Muller Orphanage, in Bristol, England; Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, Auckland; Manur.ewa Children's Home; Henry Brett Memorial Home; Methodist Children's Home and Orphanage; Salvation Army Girls' Home at Ponsonby; Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, for orphanage purposes.
