MOUNT EDEN BOWLERS
Scction play in the Saturday tournament at Mount Eden Bowling Club was finalised on Saturday. Kesults:— Section A.—Firth (Mount Albert), Ayre (Rocky Nook), Rowland (Balmoral) and Campbell (Mount Eden) tied with four wins each. Play-off: Ayre beat Firth and Xewland beat Campbell. Then Rowland beat Ayre and won the section. Section B.—Won by B. Myers (St. Helier's) with four victories. The final between Rowland and Myers will be played on June 6. The tournament for the Howey Walker shield and trophies commences next Saturday.
