McKenzie and C. K. Saxton, and several provincial representatives, Tank Brigade beat Wanganui by 19 points to 12 on Sprlggens Park. The match was played in drizzling rain and in the presence of a fair attendance. It was among the back division that the winners' superiority rested, and in Saxton they had a half-back who was a tower of strength on attack and defence. In a solid pack of forwards, McKenzie, L. Passmore and W. Mo watt stood out.
