HEADLIGHT WARNING
"TEST THEM FREQUENTLY"

Bland, in commenting on the many breaches of the wartime headlight regulations which were resulting in prosecutions. Some owners, he said, appeared to rely on the headlamp adjustment made when their cars were tested for certificates of fitness. This was unwise, because lamps other than the inset type were liable to get out of alignment.
