OBITUARY.

MRS. H. MUIR

The death has occurred of Mrs. Margaret Muir. of Alfriston, in her 93rd year. Mrs. Muir, who was born in Glengarnock, Scotland, came to New Zealand in the sailing ship Maori, arriving in Auckland on February 6, 1868. In the same year she married Mr. James Muir, a schoolteacher in the Papakura Valley. Mrs. Muir is survived by five sons and five daughters, one son being killed in the Great War. There are 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
