WELCOME TO BISHOP.

PAPAKDRA ANGLICANS. The second anniversary of the Ladies' Missionary Association was held in Christ Church, Papakura, last «rvening when the preacher was the Bishop of Auckland, the Rt. Rev. W. J. Simkin. A social was afterwards held in the Parish Hall, when Bishop Simkin and Mrs. | Simkin were entertained and given a hearty welcome by the young parishioners of the parish, which includes Drury, Karaka and Takanini. The Bishop in the course of a short address intimated that the Rev. J. G. Heath, of Christehurcli, had hren appointed vicar of Papakura in succession to the Rev. H. Sinclair, who was recently appointed vicar of Takapuna. He strongly urged the parishioners of the Papakura "parochial district to form themselves into a parish and thereby have the privilege of inviting a man of their own choice Ito become their vicar.
