SOLDIERS MARCH.
NARROW NECK SCHOOL To mark the conclusion of their course infantry officers and non-commis-sioned officers who have been undergoing two months' training at the district school, Narrow Neck, marched through the city yesterday afternoon. These trainees were drawn from the Hauraki, North Auckland and Waikato Regiments and the Auckland Company of the New Zealand Scottish Regiment. The men are dispersing to-day to regimental camps at Te Aroha, Whangarei, Cambridge and Epsom, where complete units are to begin three months training on Tuesday. The men on parade yesterday looked exceptionally smart, and the spectators were not to comment on their fine marching. Lieu-tenant-Colonel B. R. Penlington, Hauraki Regiment, was in command, and outside the Civic Theatre the salute was taken by Colonel N. W. McD. Weir. The Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment, which has completed a course of training at Epsom, will march through the city to-morrow morning. It will leave the Domain at 10.30 and the salute will be taken by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, at the Town Hall at approximately 10.45. On Sunday there will be a ceremonial parade at the Epsom Showgrounds. > .'_
