SUNK BY RAIDER.
British Survivors Fired On In Lifeboats. DRIFTED FOR A FORTNIGHT. (Reed. 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 25. Survivors of a British freighter, who were landed at Barranquilla (Venezuela) reported that a German raider sank their drip off Trinidad on September 3. Thereafter, the raider machinegunned the lifeboats. The survivors drifted for a fortnight before they were picked up by a tanker.
