URGENT NEED.
ORE FOR GERMANY.
New Move Through Finland To
North Of Norway.
United Press Association.—Copyright,
(Reed. 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25. The "Daily Telegraph" Helsinki correspondent says great military activity is reported from northern Norway, where strongly reinforced troops are occupying important points to Kirkenes, near Vadso, in the extreme north, at which there are extensive works for the extraction of iron ore. The haste with which the invaders are improving the railways and roads shows that considerable importance is attached to the district. British reconnaissance and bombing flights in the nortli of Norway are being intensified. It is officially stated in Helsinki that Finland has permitted the transit of German troops and supplies into Norway through north Finland, under a similar arrangement to that made by Sweden last July.
