MONUMENT PLANNED.
CENTENNIAL, MEMORIAL.
On a commanding site overlooking the Tasman Sea. the Auckland Provincial Centennial Council has decided to have erected a monument appropriate to the early history of New Zealand, and bearing, inter alia, the description "Auckland Centennial Memorial Park."' A sub-committee has been appointed to recommend a site, and the form that tie monument should take.
