HORSES AT ELLERSLIE,
Tlinre were some fast sprints at Kiirrslie this morning, when No. 2 grass track was open for fast work. The wontiier ivas fine and the going in excellent order. • C Yo" 1; o - Boy fGilchrist) ran half a mile 311 48 _-js, which was the best of the morning over the distance. He did his work well throughout. The Ohinenmri Cup candidate Clinch (Cameron) and Stratford (Vaughan) were associated over a similar distance, finishing together in 50 4-ss. Clinch, who is looking particularly well, could have done better. Happicoat (Oilchrist), after running the first furlong fii 13s, got to the end of four in 49 3-os. This filly hit out in good style and is bearing a very bright appearance. Final (Mortinovich) and Landveyor (Poad) were together at the end of half a mile in 50 l-ss, which was a pleasing oftort. b
Lady Acuslila (Tremain) and Carot (Mortinovich) took 51 4-oe for half a mile, both going nicely. Hinehau (Vaughan), after covering the first two furlongs in 245, ran five in 1.3 ]-ss, time which was equalled by Milanion (Vauglian). Other gallops were:— Three furlongs: Praleron (Wiggins') 42 ]-ss. White Marls (Tremain) 39 2-ss, Phil Vaals (O'Connor) 38 3-ss, Flying Jay (Thomson), and Golden Bonnet (Manson) beat Bournemouth (C'ammick) 375, Poland (Pascoe) 425. Four furlongs: Veyana (Cammick) and Miss Bridge (Cameron) 52 2-ss. Rue de Paix (Cameron) beat Gold Race (F. Smith) 58 4-ss, Dublin Show (Vaughan) and Arohatoon (Poad) 575. Sebrof (Thomson) 52 l-ss, Tea Gong 59 l-ss. Five furlongs: Mia Regina (Markwick) 1.6. LI an da Jf 1.7 3-5. Biddy Girl 1.12. Six furlongs: Bronze Emerald (Tremain) and Elisc (Mortinovich), 1.17 2-5. finishing together. Miss Valerie . (Wiggins) 1.20, AcreV Beauty 1.19 3-se, Marchby (Thomson) 1.24 3-5.
