CARDINAL CENSORED.

ACTION TAKEN IN KIBE. Passages in broadcasts made on the previous Sunday by Cardinal Hinsley, Archbishop of Westminster, were suppressed by the Eire censor on August 5, according to a report published by the English "Daily Herald" on August 6. "The broadcasts were to the forces and to America, and it is believed they were censored because they related to the war," the paper states. "At Archbishop's House, Westminster, the 'Daily Herald' was toH: 'Nothing at all has been heard of the matter here.' "In his broadcasts the Cardinal declared: 'For me neutrality of heart is impossible in this struggle.' He attacked 'the Nazi creed of all-conquering racialism.'"
