BOBBY CALVES.
No other baby animal than the bobby > calf -receives cruel treatment. A ealf to my mind is the loveliest creature of God's creation. I have walked a pleasant main Auckland street lateJy, admiring everything beautiful. Suddenly along come-s a truck and through the grating tiny calves wobbling on their legs to be liurlrd over arc every lurch. I forget the beauty and could" sit on the curb and cry. My petition comes from all women. ANIMAL LOVER.
