EXPLOSION AT SCHOOL MISHAP DURING EXPERIMENT. TAURANGA, this day. A painful accident occurred to Russell Stevens, a high school pupil, when hi* class was conducting an experiment for the collection of h; -lrogen. An explosion occurred and Stevens received a blast in one eye, which was severely injured by flying glass. Several other pupils received scratches.
