Green Ga.l>l«e, second to AH Night at Geraldine, had raced only once previously, at Adhburton, on September 14. She is a three-yeaf-old brown filly by Vermeer f.rom Ann Acre. She is a firet foal, and is closely related to Gay Seton, Tuahine, etc. Ann Acre never raced. She ie 'by Acre from Lady Lois, ,by Lueullus—Persia, iby Marble Arch. Green Gables was .bred at the Trelawney Stud, Cambridge,, and wae sold at the yearling Bailee at Trentham for eogs. Gr'een Gables carries the same colours as The Raker, *tboee of Mr.
