With the acquiescence of the military authorities the labour Day meeting of the Waikato Hunt will be staged at Te Rapa on October 28 and the spring meeting of the Waikato Racing Club will follow on November 16 and 18. With the encampment of the let Battalion, 16th Waikato Regiment, on the Cambridge course and the occupation of the buildings by the military authorities, the Waikato Hunt Club will not be able to utilise its course this season.
