CLUBS AND SOCIETIES.
Senior Radiant Health Club.—Mr. F. Johnston continued his series of lectures at the last meeting. His subject was "The Fifth and Sixth Centres in Man, in Relation to Sex Problems." Mothers' Club, Y.W.C.A.—At the weekly meeting, presided over by Mrs. Sharp, president, a spinning demonstration was given by Miss Jamison. Miss Alice Moncur was the soloist. The hostesses were Mesdames Edwards and Dodde. • • • • Daisy Chain Club.—An interesting programme was presented at the last meeting and a considerable sum was raised for the good oheer box for the local sick and needy. The artists were Miss Evans and Mesdames McPherson and Dines. Competitions, were won by Mrs. Barfoot, Mrs. Dando and Mrs. Edmonds. Folk dancing introduced by Miss Gebbie was also enjoyed. The president, Mrs. Lord, presided. ♦ * • • Women's Progress Club.— At the meeting of the Women's Progress Club of the Higher Thought Centre the speaker wae Miss Irene Rutherford, who concluded her series of talks on "The Flowers of the Zodiac." The soloist, Mrs. E. Asher, was accompanied by Mrs. L. Grace. The president, Mrs. C. E. Dickens, presided. New Women's Club.— Mrs. A. H. Turner, in an interesting talk, narrated her experiences during a trip through England in the months before the outbreak j of war, and described the excitements and perils of the return journey through the Mediterranean and Red Sea.
