RECEPTIONS.
OVERSEAS GUESTS. A small luncheon party was given by Miss Bet" a Edwards and Miss Beryl Nettleton at their studio yesterday, tiie g , t of honour being Algeranoff, of the Russian Ballet, who was passing through Auckland on his way to America with other members of the ballet. Mise Loraine Norton, examiner of the Royal A'cademy of Dancing (London), who arrived from Australia yesterday, and Miss Jeane Home, of Wellington, organiser iu New Zealand, were also present.
. A reception was given in the afternoon at the Ritz Restaurant by members of the Auckland Society of Teachers of Dancing in honour of Miss Norton and Miss Home. The function was organised by Mre. Lois McConnell and Miss Cecil Hall, assisted by Madame Valeska, Miss Bettina Edwards, Miss Edith Graham and Miss Loma Kay.
