GOOD ATTENDANCES.

NATIVE FLOWER DISPLAY. Higher attendances than at any previous exhibition typify the success of the native spring flower show now being held at the Auckland Museum. Up to date 6075 people have attended. Items that have attracted much attention are the children's posies, the mountain buttercups—the largest in the world—and the giant forget-me-not, and of special interest are the brilliantlycoloured tawapou berries-. Recent "additions have arrived from Stewart Island and Christchurch. These alpine plants will be left on display over the week-end to enable northern folk to see them. The last day of the flower show will be on Wednesday.
