Two prominent billiards player., L. HoMsworth and J. Shepherd, were eliminated when the Auckland open snooker tourney was continued last evening. Results:— W. Knott beat L. Holdsworth, 41—61. 59—46. 68—26; W. WhyU beat J. Shepherd, 89—64, 57—41. 81—19. Games for to-night:—C. Cummins v. D. Watson, 7 p.m.; B. North v. R. Killer, 7.30 p.m.; G. Lamb v. K. Talt, 8.30 p.m.
