ODTAA'S SIX.
SEVERAL FAST FOURS. TRIALS AT ELLERSLIE. THIS MORNING'S WORK. Conditions were ideal for galloping at Ellerslie this morning, and the going on No. 2 grass track, which was open for fast work was good. Some smart sprints were recorded. Natal, Lady Aeushla, Water Hound, Bronzo and Landveyor put up the oeet efforts over three furlouge, Biddy Girl, Llandaff and Acre's Beauty over four, and Odtaa over six. Natal (Tremain) went nicely while running three furlongs in 38 2-os,- Lady Aoushla and Water Hound finishing in front of No Caste in the same time. Bronzo (Pond) and Landveyor (McTavish) took 38 3-ss, finishing together. Biddy Girl hit out nicely while running half a mile in 49 2-ss. which was the best of the morning over the distance. Llandaff (Messervy* recording 4!) 3-ss. Acre's Beauty (Meeservy) jumped away in front to load Bournemouth (Oammk-k) Flying Jny (Thomson) over the same ground in 4!) 3-.V:. the last-named setting all the worst of the start. Hinehnu (Vaughnn) took 40 4-.">s, while Phil Vaate
(Gilehiist) ran from the seven to the three-furlong post in the same time. Odtaa (Gilchriet) covered six furloiige in 1.17 4-5. He was assisted over the first two by Den Pasa (Messervy) in 24 l-ss. The latter, \yho Iβ a novice by VaaJs, showed promising epeed. Other gallops were:— Three furlongs: Golden Pay (Gilchriet) 40 2-ss, Marchby (Thomson) 42 l-ss, Topette (Tremain) 395. Four furlongs: Final (Williams) 535, Landsman (Vaughan) and Elise (Coon) 52 2-ss, Tybalt (Pell) 51 2-ss, Carot 53 2-os, Bronze Emerald (Messervy) and Mia Kegina (Markwick) 50s, Dublin Show (Vaughan) and Master Warden (light boy)' 51 2-ss, Goldrace (Vaughan) and Rue de Paix (Cameron) 565. Five furlongs: Maihala (Williams) and Miss Valerie (Vaughan) 1.6 3-5, Softly (Tremain) 1.8, Boompeadaisy (Vaughan) 1.5. Sir furlongs: Bronze Fire 1.27 2-ss, Poland 1.19 4-5, Valmint (J. Bagby) 1.20, Sebrof 1.20 3-5, Golden Bonnet 1.28 3-5. Round: Clinch (Cameron) and Stratford (Vaughan) 1.56, the last half-mile in 53 2-ss. Both went well. The Jumpers. Boy Lu (Coon) and Loyal Grant (Gemmell) gave a good display over four hurdles. Pleuron showed promise while jumping two pony hurdles. Digger Jim (Coon) jumped two hurdles twice in good style. Ringehot (Ritchie) and Inyatis (Gemmell) jumped four hurdles nicely. Leigh ton Buzzard (Ritchie) and Te Ronga (Neil) were schooled over the big fences on the flat, Te Ronga showing to inosjt advantage, though Leighton Buzzard went well. *
