"WOLF."
Now it is pretty certain that our recent visitor, Count von Luckner, vat here as a German spy. it wouldn't do any harm to give "the much-abused trades unions a bit of credit for their definite and uncompromising attituds towards him, both here and in Australia, from the very first. They condemned his activities verbally, and by printed pamphlets even before "he landed. Our superiors, taking them generally, fell like a house of cards for him and his charming frau, wined and dined him and gazed in admiration at his parlour tricks. Even the Returned Soldiers' Association, who of all bodies should have known better, played little Bed Riding Hood to the Big Bad Wolf and roared indignantly at anyone who hesitated to accept a noble and gallant onetime adversary.
