TITXRANGX BEATS AUCKLAND. The annual inter-club contest between ™je titirangi aml KoK clubs for the Hanna Mug, was completed yesterday with the second series of matches, Tifirangi, who had a big lead in the first series, won 22 games to 11, with 3 all square. At Middlemore, where the A teams met, Auckland won nine matches to eight, but Titirangi had a big margin on it's own course Following were the results, names of Titirangi players being mentioned first in each case:—

Wilson jun., 1 down. Titirangi won 13 games and Auckland three, two being all square. FRANKLIN. The Franklin championship tournament was held on Saturday on the Pukekohe course. The championship was won by J. C. Niccol. of the Pukekohe Club, who returned an aggregate of 157 for the 36 holes. The runner-up was K. Llddle Pukekohe) 160, and the next best were S. McDonald (Manukau) and I. Bayly (Pukekohe). 161. Handicap events resulted as follows:—36-holes medal match I. Bayly. 142; 18-holes medal, I. Bayly. 67; 18holes Stableford. S. McDonald, 39: 18-holes gross K. Llddle, on a count back from S. McDonaldteams match, Roulston Banner, Pukfkohe. 970.
