DICKENS PAGEANT.

Upward of 40 Dickensian characters were represented at the annual costume, parade of the Dickens Fellowship held in the Penwomen'e Club roome before a packed audience last night. The arrangements were in the charge of Mrs. Helen Griffiths, who also acted as producer of the famous Bardell v. Pickwick breach of promise trial, which was reenacted by a full cast of members, and created considerable amusement. The prizes for the best sustained lady and gentleman characters were, as a result of a vote by ballot, awarded to Mrs. M. Carte Lloyd and Mr. C. Gorman. Appropriate pianoforte selections were played by Mrs. Isa Neave.
