TOURNAMENT HELD AT NEWMARKET. Results of the Auckland Boxing Association's all-amateur tournament held last nieht in the Newmarket Municipal Hall:— J. Boreham (9.4) beat C. Coward (4.10), on points. A special trophy was presented to the loser. C. Brown (8.10) beat A. Thompson (9.3), on points. O. Nicholas (9.1) beat B. McLean (9.1), on points. H. Gordon (6.9) beat G. Broadhurst (8.10) on points. B. Bowling (9.3) beat W. Morton (8.12), by a technical knock-out In the second round. A special trophy was presented to the loser, s. Hawthorne (11.0) beat L. Williams (11.7). on points. S. McCowan (7.8) beat W. dough (7.9). on points. J. Sivewrlght (11.1) beat H. Turei (10.12), on points. A special trophy was presented to the loser. W. Almao (7.12) beat W. Craigle (8.3), by a technical knock-out In the first round.
