General entries for events to be decided at the spring meeting of the Auckland Racing Club at Ellerslie on. Saturday and Monday, October 12 and 14, will cloee with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence, at 5 p.m. this evening. At- the eame time forfeits must be declared for the Great Northern Guineas and Welcome Stakes.
