PERSONAL.
Mr. Maurice Clarke, general manager of Union Airways, Limited, has returned to Wellington. Mr. E. L. Rutledge will return to Wellington by the Limited express tonight. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coatee will be a passenger for Wellington on the Limited express to-night. The Hon. Eliot Davis returned from Wellington on the Limited express thia morning. Mr. W. A. Boucher arrived from Wellington on the Limited expreae this morning. Mr. J. Barr, chief librarian at the Auckland Public Library was a passenger on the express to Wellington thia afternoon. Flight-Lieutenant G. R. Canavan, air port control officer at Auckland, left today for Rotorua. He will be absent for a week on leave. Mr. E. A. Kimbell has received advice that his brother, Major C. W. Kimbell, of Wellington, who wae reported mieeing during the evacuation from Dunkirk, is a prisoner of war in Belgium. Major T. A. H. Oliphant left yesterday for Papakura Camp, where he will take over the command of the Ist Training Battalion. Major Olipbant was formerly camp commandant at Xgaruawahia, and has been succeeded in this position by his adjutant, Captain S. T. who I has been promoted to the rank of major.
