OBITUARY.

MR. F. O. TEOHAH. * WHAKATANE, this day. t The death has occurred of Mr. Frank .. Cyril Yeoman, prominent farmer in the i. Opouriao district and well known e throughout the Bay of Plenty. Born d at Devonport, Auckland, in 1874, Mr. | Yeoman was one of the first 10 scholars t to be granted free places for secondary .' education and he attended the Auckland j} Grammar School until he went to e Opotiki, in 1890, to learn farming. Four I yeajia later he purchased his own prof perty at Waiotahi. In 1898 he married ' Miss Mary Blomfield, of Auckland. In j 1901, a few years after the Opouriao estate had heen cut up, he bought the . present property. [ Mr. Yeoman was for many years a i member of the Whakatane Oountv ' Council and Bay of Plenty Hospita'l ■ Board. Among his other connections, he was a director of the Opouriao Dairy Company from its inception, and was a former president of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki Agricultural and Pastoral Association. He was associated with St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Taneatua, being one of the original -elders and acted as choirmaster for manyyears. For 25 years he conducted the Sunday school at Opouriao. He is survived by four sons, three of whom are serving with the armed forces, and four daughters. There are 19 grandchildren. MR. W. A. LEVETT. WELLINGTON, this day. News has been received of the death in the Gilbert Islands of Mr. W. A. Levett, who was attached to the headquarters in that area of the London Missionary Society.—(Press Assn.) MR. T. 'PETERS. The death has occurred of Mr. T. Peters at the age of 70 years. Born in Lome Street. Auckland, he later resided at Dr. Wright's Point, now known as Augustus Terrace, ParneJl. As a vouth he was employed by Mr. E. Foster as a grocer, later starting a business on his own account in Parnell Road, in which he continued until his death. He is survived by his wife, a eon and two daughters. MR. A. G. FALLWELL. The death has occurred of Mr. Alfred Gilbert Fallwell, aged 75, a member of one of the pioneer families of Papakura. Mr. Fallwell was for many years in business as a chemist- at Papaknra, ■ Warkworth, Tauranga and Papatoetoe, retiring at Papatoetoe two years ago. He is survived by his wife, one son and I three daughters.
