Play In the Auckland provincial open snooker jnamplonshlp was continued at Messrs. Barton and Mcoill s Hall last evening. C. Cummins won by default from D. Watson; W. Thompson beat J. Roach, 52—49, 62—40; R. Hall beat M. D. White. ™,^? 0 ' 62 ~ 55 ' 72 —55- The result of the HallWhite match was a surprise. Each of the games was keenly contested, the black having to be respotted in the second game. The matches for to-night are:—W. Knox v. A. Moon, 7.0: V. Fredatovich v, C. A. Smith, 7.30; R. Carrlck v. Spencer, 8.30.
