RICHMOND CLUB. The annual meeting ol the Richmond Yacht Club was held last evening in the new clubhouse. St. Mary's Bay reclamation, the president. Mr. R. A. Rew, presiding over a large attendance! The report, submitted by Mr. R. L. Bowden. congratulated members on the completion of the clubhouse and tendered thanks to the Auckland Harbour Board and to all committees and others who had assisted. Thirty-live members had Joined the forces and others were waiting to be sent on active service, including the commodore, Mr. *•• *?•. Tnorpe. and vice-commodore, Mr. J. The following officers were elected for the coming season: Patron, Mr. J. Longbottom; vicepatrons, Messrs. W. B. Darlow, A. G. Frankham and A. Thompson: president, Mr. R. A. Rew: commodore. Mr. J. c. Frankham; vice-commodore, Mr. Colin Dennes; rear-commodore, Mr. W. Ramsey: hon. secretary, Mr. R. Taylor: hon. treasurer. Mr. J. M. Craig; hon. solicitor, Mr. T. c. Webster; hon. architects, Messrs. R. A. and R. L. Thorpe; clubhouse captain, Mr. M. J. Hill; delegates to Yacht and Motor Boat Association, Messrs. M. J, Hill and M. Thomson; hon. auditors, Messrs. J. Longbottom and L. FhUpott; committee, Messrs. R. L. Thorpe. R. L. Bowden. O. BeUve, * R. Simons, F. Hay. L. Phllpot, G. McKendrick. Reg. Collins, W. Humby, N. Shaw, W. McLeod, ' pes. Hurley, C. Linden and J. Rew. The build- ' ing committee and. the ladies' committee were • re-elected, and votes of thanks were accorded them, also to Mr. Geo. L. Laycock, who repre- ! sented the club en the association for a number , of years, and had now joined the Royal Navy for home service. A set of three cups was presented by Mr. Norman Wade, architect to the Harbour Board, and he was thanked for his gift. The annual subscription was fixed at 5' tor seniors, 3/ for ladies and 1/6 for Juniors. Twentyfive new members were elected.
