TRUCKS COLLIDE.

A fortunate escape from serious injury befell the driver of a small motor van Mr. A. D. Griffen, of White Swan Road, A\ondale, when his vehicle came into collision with a heavy motor truck at the intersection of" Mount Albert and Dominion Roads late yesterday afternoon. Although his van overturned, and was almost completelv wrecked, Mr. Griffen suffered only minor cuts to his hand. The driver of the other vehicle escaped without injury.
