MRS. EMILY NICOL.
The death has occurred in Auckland of Mrs. Emily Nicol, aged 85. Mrs. Xicol, who had resided in the city for many years, showed keen interest in hospital and mental hospital affairs, and in the work of the St. John Ambulance Association. She al6o founded the Soldiers Mothers' League.
