OBITUARY.

MRS. E. McCORMICK. 1 HAMILTON, this day. An old resident of Waihi, Mrs. Ellen McCormick has died at her son's residence, 10, Haig Street, Frankton, aged 87. Mrs. McCormick, who was born in Ireland, came to New Zealand in 1868 on the sailing ship .Tohn liamfield and landed at Auckland, where she lived for a number of years. In 1876 she married Mr. Francis McCormick, who died two years ago. Mrs. McCormick then came to Hamilton, having lived most of her life in the Dominion at Waihi. She is survived by seven children, 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
