RAILWAYMAN INJURED.
When a log slipped off a truck which he was helping to unload at Mercer tli» morning, and fell on him, Mr. Opere Nepia, aged 37, married, of Tuakau. employed by the Railway Department, suffered a fractured pelvis. A St. John ambulance, summoned from Auckland, made a fast trip to Mercer and back, and Mr. Nepia was admitted to the Auckland Hospital early this afternoon. His condition is serious.
