LONDON FIRE-FIGHTERS. In recognition of t4ie heroism of the fire-fighters of the bombed metropolis, the Auckland Fire Brigade to-day sent a cablegram of fraternal greetings to the London Fire Brigade.

"A magnificent effort," ran tlie cablegrain. "The eyes of tlie world are upon you. We are all with you in spirit, and would like to stand side by side. Keep up the good work.—Officers and men of the Auckland Fire Brigade."
