The Hercules Company is one of the biggest povrier manufacturers in the United States. It lias a number of plants of which the Kenvil is one. The company manufactures powder and dynamite for the Government. It is estimated that at least 50 people j were killed and 100 injured. " •" Thirty bodies had been recovered. rt " The explosion did incalculable damage and will delay 17,000,000 dollars' worth of British and American defence • - contracts.
