THE DAY OF PRATER AND AFTER.
Now that the national day of prayer is past permit me to suggest that what is now needed is a "reconsecration hr all Christian Iwlicvers tbe world over of their live* to Cod and Christ, beginning with the minister*, part ore, evangelist* and Sunday school teacher* in our churches and missions. I weß rememher such a move beins made hem in Auckland when a visiting minister confessed hU faults publicly, and then Teoon*<vrated" his iife to Cod and Christ at a time of very low Ohrietiaa and religious force. The result wm that Christians were awakened out of their sleep and chtjrche* were ffllei with reconsecrated live* which was tie. mean* of a spiritual revival and th* saving of many serious souls for Chnet. -who to-day are Tiappy living witnesses of HU saving and keeping powem If some such move were again made at the present time I am sure Cmi will sejid shower? of blessing and deliver us_ from our enemie* a.< in the past. Therefore, let every Christian and Imr "reconsecrate'' their lives to God ant Chrkt. C. E. KMGHT.
