ACCIDENTAL DEATH.

HAMILTON, Wednesday. A verdict of accidental death wae returned at the inquest held ■before the coroner, Mr. F. W. Platts, to-day into the "death of John David GoWe, aged three, the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Gable, who died on August 31, which was his 'birthday. Evidence wae given by a schoolgirl, Valerie Mills, that she and others were playing in Steel Park, Hamilton East, on August 30, when ehe saw deceased run and fall in front of a swing which wae in tiee. The child was struck on the head.

Medical evidence wae given that the child died in the Waikato Hospital on August 31 from a fractured skull and lacerated "brain.
