COAL MINE ACCIDENT.
MINER FATALLY INJURED. DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The death occurred in the Balclutha Hospital this afternoon of Mr. Thomas Randle Carson, married, aged 41, following injuries received in an accident at the Kaitangata coal mine on Monday. Mr. Careon wae struck by a fall of stone and coal, receiving a fractured ekull and other injuries. He did not regain consciousness. A family of seven children ie left.—(Press Assn.)
