KNOTT WINS B GRADE BILLIARDS.

In the final of the B grade amateur billiards championship last night, w. Knott beat B. Little by 29 points. The scores were:— Knott, 500 (breaks of 22. 25. 58). Little, 471 (breaks of 27, 27, 34, 25). Mr. 8. C. Holdsworth, chairman of the Auckland Billiards' Association, presented the Hackett Cup to the winner, which he holds for one year, also a trophy to commemorate his victory. The runner-up received a trophy as also did W. Natzke for compiling the highest break during the tourney. Snooker Tourney. The open championship snooker tournament was continued at Messrs. Barton and McOlll's Hall last evening, the remits being:—B. Hall beat J. Black. 52—29, 68—18; A. Be*la won by default from Alderton. The games for to-night are: — J. Whit* T. R. Nixon, at 7.30; J. D. Schultz v. A. North, at 8.30.
